## How it works

1. **A routine that fits your day.** Add your meds and set your schedule. See what’s next, all in one place.
2. **A reminder that shows up.** aizu rings when it’s time to take your meds. Need a little longer? Snooze and come back.
3. **A moment to follow through.** Show your pill to the camera, then confirm your dose. A small check-in with yourself. The check doesn’t identify medication or verify ingestion, and the photo stays on your iPhone.
4. **One less thing on your mind.** Your dose is recorded in your history, so you can get on with your day. See taken and missed doses, with a summary you can share.

## Built around real life

### Less guesswork: “Did I take it?” Wonder no more.

See taken and missed doses in your history. A clearer picture for you, and a useful starting point for your next doctor’s visit.

### More flexibility: a routine with breathing room

Busy morning? Snooze your reminder. Can’t use the camera? Log it yourself. There’s room for the days that don’t go to plan.

### Private by design: your health data, only yours

Pill photos are checked on your iPhone and never uploaded. Your meds and history are encrypted before they sync, so not even aizu can read them.

## Good questions

### What makes aizu different?

A reminder is only the beginning. For tablets and capsules, aizu asks you to show your pill to the camera, then confirm your dose. It adds a moment of intention between hearing the alarm and getting on with your day.

### Is it just for pills?

No. You can schedule tablets, capsules, liquids, drops, inhalers and injections. Medicines that aren’t pills use a simple Taken button instead of the camera check.

### What if my day doesn’t go to plan?

Snooze a reminder when you need a little time. If you can’t take a photo, you can log a dose without the check, or mark it as not taken. Your history keeps an honest record.

### Does the camera know which medicine I’m taking?

No. The camera checks for a pill-like shape, not the identity, strength or safety of a medication. Always check your label and follow your prescribed instructions. Photo checks happen on your phone.

### When can I get it?

## A note from Claudia

I was bad at taking my meds. Rarely on time. Most days, I’d forget altogether. But I need them for my health, so “I’ll remember tomorrow” wasn’t really working.

I wanted an app that would make me stop and actually do it. An alarm I couldn’t just swipe away and forget. So I built aizu: it rings, asks me to take a photo of my pill, then lets me confirm the dose as taken. Alarm off. Dose recorded.

That extra step is the whole idea. Getting the pill in front of me, instead of leaving it as another thing I meant to do. If that sounds familiar, I made this for you, too.
